Michael Chambers
Board Director, President and Chief Banking Officer
Michael Chambers is the President and Chief Banking Officer of Partners Bank of California, who also serves on the Bank’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Chambers prides himself on being a “player coach,” as he manages a client portfolio that exceeds $300 million in aggregate loans and deposits, in addition to directing the efforts of six other client advisors. In 2007, he was an original investor and employee of Partners Bank of California, the then start-up business bank.
Prior to joining Partners Bank of California, Mr. Chambers launched his career in the financial sector with MBNA America Bank – the Fortune 100 credit card giant who sold for $36 billion in 2005 to Bank of America. At MBNA, his key roles included serving as the Western Region Operations Director for the organization’s telesales, customer service and balance transfer departments as well as managing its sports sector (MLB, NFL and NBA) Western region affinity credit card relationships.
In addition to serving as President and Chief Banking Officer, Board Director for Partners Bank of California, Mr. Chambers also serves as Advisory Board Chairman for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley.
He graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
