Gregory N. Patton is the Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer of Partners Bank of California.
Mr. Patton has nearly 30 years of experience managing financial institutions serving in executive roles, including president and CEO.
Prior to joining Partners Bank of California in 2022, he served as executive vice president at American River Bank, overseeing relationship managers and production staff. Mr. Patton was also responsible for community relations for emerging lending focus as well as operational and credit development.
In addition to his work at American River Bank, Mr. Patton served in executive leadership capacities at Sierra Vista Bank. While at Sierra Vista Bank, he served as president and CEO. Under his leadership, he oversaw the management of $20 million de novo after six months in operation, grew the bank to $105 million, and managed the bank for capital preservation. In addition, he succeeded in subsequent additional capital raises during his tenure.
Throughout his career, Mr. Patton has provided strategic leadership for financial institutions, managing branch activity for consumer and commercial lending, bank production and business development as well as credit and compliance. In addition, he has been featured as a prominent speaker for several financial conferences and summits in Northern California.
Mr. Patton has also served on several boards of directors for local non-profit organizations and acted as a banking and financial consultant for non-profits.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Black Hills State University, a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of San Francisco and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.
