Lisa Favor

Advisory Board Member

Lisa Favor is a CPA and partner at LSL CPAs, where she plays a key role in leading the firm’s tax, accounting, and financial services. She began her career at 21 in her father’s practice and quickly gained the trust of a large medical group at Saddleback Hospital, ultimately taking on the role of business manager. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the financial needs of medical practices, which continues to shape her work today.

Lisa has built long-term relationships with clients, many of whom have been with her since the start of their medical careers. As a partner at LSL, Lisa leads a team that values continuous education, staying up to date with the latest tax laws, and proactively identifying creative solutions for reducing the tax burden. Equally important is helping clients understand their own business metrics by making their accounting reports user-friendly and informative. A standout service at LSL is their Virtual Office offering, which provides comprehensive accounting solutions, including bill payment, payroll management, and insightful financial dashboards, designed to help businesses—especially medical practices—streamline their operations and make informed financial decisions.

Outside of her professional role, Lisa is deeply committed to community service. She has volunteered as a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, and participated in various charitable initiatives, including working with an orphanage in Tijuana, tornado cleanup in Alabama, and hurricane recovery efforts in Florida. Lisa has also been involved in supporting homeless programs and served as a board member of the National Charity League.

In her personal life, Lisa enjoys ballet and jazz dance in her home studio, ocean activities, and swimming with her husband. She values time spent in nature, with good friends, and—most importantly—with her family. Lisa treasures her moments with her parents and two adult children, prioritizing family bonds above all.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Accounting from San Diego State University.
